SIXT Rent a Car Tampa Airport

Alan was awesome, very professional and friendly. He made it very easy and great experience. I would definitely recommend them for future rentals. I will be definitely using this company next time.

Meine Erfahrungen wie folgt - angemietet Tampa Intl Airport - Car rental center. Guy at the desk was very friendly, but the first car he gave us was terrible. Right mirror was broken not to say it was destroyed. Guy at the car deck was very unwilling to change the car. The new car we got was a category lower and we also had a problem next day. The battery of the car remote was empty. The car had approx 17.000 mls on it. So unfortunately very bad experience and condition of cars at sixt.

The process was quick an easy, the car was like new, no hidden fees, perfect experience overall.

I highly recommend renting a car from SIXT. I had never heard of them before my recent trip to Tampa but everything was handled very professionally and there were no issues whatsoever. Misty, who handled our rental at the airport, was exceptional in every way and provided top notch service. I cannot recommend her enough.

Probably the worst experience I had. I rented a Blazer for my Florida vacation ahead of time and paid for it so there would be no issues. I guess I was wrong! When I got off the plane in Tampa, I went to Sixt rentals to pick up the vehicle, they said I would have to wait 2 1/2 - 3hr for what I rented. I could understand the wait if I just walked up and wanted a vehicle, but I did it ahead of time and put down what time I will be picking it up to make sure I would not have to wait. My choices were to wait or take a Volkswagen in its place, of course the it was more money per day. I asked if they could match the price seeing how the one, I ordered was not there. I was told no pay more or wait. So, I took the Volkswagen, who wants to wait 3hrs in an airport while just getting off a 4hr flight. We just wanted to start our vacation. On top of that the person helping me was also trying to help three people at once and put my return date 1 day earlier than it should have been. I originally paid $409 for the Blazer now the bill went up to $623. On top of that the lack of customer service they have, for trying to make a customer happy for something that was there mix up was not good. . Nope, just got a NO I CAN'T DO THAT. I have been in the Retail business for 30yrs and run numerous locations, if you preorder something and we mess up we honor the original agreement if there has to be an upgrade we take care of the customer.. It is not the customers fault if the Location messes up. I would not recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty more rental agencies to choose from, even if they are a little more expensive it's worth it for good service.
