Indoor staff consistently behaves, as if the self-service option is the only thing that they need to direct you to. I tried talking to the young lady, and she started explaining to me how she was not gonna be able to help me before she even knew what my problem was. The fake smiles and behavior as if she has something else to do is so annoying and consistent at GTE since she put in the virtual teller I hate going into your location.

I had an issue with my account and the team at GTE FCU immediately took care of it and calmed me down. From the representative on the phone, Vera to the people in the branch, they were all very helpful. Thanks GTE FCU for hiring excellent service reps!

Ive never experienced a worse bank. Its ridiculous. The amount of times I kept trying to get the checks I paid for is obnoxious and after a year, still never got them. The customer service is a joke. When we first opened the account, I had to come in 4 different times because they kept printing the card wrong. Our cards locked several times a week but somehow, our account also kept receiving fraudulent charges. They charge you I think $35 to block the fraudulent places from charging again, btw. When I went to close my account, I couldnt because a $2.99 fee from Apple was processing but not posted yet. They left $2.99 in the account and even though I didnt want the rest of the money out of the account yet until the account was ready to close, they gave me it anyway and swore theres no way I could get the $35 NSF fee. I call in the next day to close the account and what do yaa know, they charged the overdraft fee lol somehow, to GTE, $2.99 - $2.99 = -$35. Sure. They chose to waive the fee because I was closing and I reminded the agent I was assured AND that it was noted by the agent that I wouldnt get that charge so its not really just a kind gesture. It took me 1 hour and 16 minutes on the phone, 48 minutes of that being on hold 6 times, to just close the account. AND THEN (remember I was charged an overdraft fee), they asked if Id like the remaining $1.09 I had in my account sent to me via check, or if Id like to donate it to them. Sorry but GTEs math just isnt really mathing.
