This place.. gorgeous wood floors. Gorgeous old Tampa architecture. Cute little complex. Just a cool place to live. However, had a rat problem. I caught SIX rats in that apartment and management didnt do anything. They were aware. Had to fix the issue myself. Had to buy supplies and cut off a hole in the kitchen. They were on my countertops eating produce. Management didnt do aaaaanything. Disgusting.

The area is amazing. Walkabilty score super high. Next to Bayshore and great resteraunts. Apartment was old but cozy. HOWEVER....there was NO heat for the winter months. Most importantly they have a huge RAT INFESTATION. It took two months for them to do anything about it after me emailing and calling every day. I had dogs to protect and they kept sending a weird pest control guy who came in and did absolutely nothing but make me feel uncomfortable. There was one maintenance guy who was the only person there to go out of his way to help me. Furthermore, the way they trapped the rats was extremely inhumane. They used sticky pads to catch them and the poor rats would sit on it struggling to break free knowing they were facing impending death. They kept using the excuse that they were at the mercy of the pest control department and that was why they couldn't tend to the problem. I felt sick and scared to be in my own apartment. I asked for compensation and they denied. I would never recommend anyone to live there. Shared laundry was a joke. The machines broke once a month. There was a pile of someones blankets on the floor in the shared laundry room for over a month. There are only three assigned parking spots for over 13 units and good luck finding parking on the street, because its right next to Fresh Kitchen. You WILL get ticketed or towed if parked in the wrong spot. I regret living there for as long as I did and the increase in rent is laughable considering the rat infestation that I am sure is still going on. Especially after the last storm. I would never have renewed my lease knowing then what I know now. RUN and don't look back!
