The Flats at 4200

The A/C has been broken for over a month. The management has ignored multiple maintenance requests and emails. They do not care and to not respond.

After living here for 2 years and in 4 different units, AND working in the office, I hope that someone comes across my review and is influenced to NOT sign a lease. ***The 5 star reviews you see are from their office staff and friends.*** Was personally demonized by the office management for standing up for myself after being forced out of my first unit for HVAC leakage and the need to rebuild. After that horrendous incident, I was met with conditions that were what some would consider unlivable. Went without proper A/C for 6 weeks in the summer, was given a temporary unit that kept my balcony door open every night as a "solution". Washer and dryer stopped working and was not given a new one, was instead forced to move out weeks early with 5 days notice. My car was considerably damaged on their property two times, but no cameras or concern from the office to help my case. No elevators for months at a time, even during move-out. Most residents are forced to relocate to a different unit for months (yes, during the school semester) for reconstruction. Constant cat-calling from the construction men working on the building. Most, if not all, amenities don't work. Overall the cheapest quality appliances, furniture, and build for almost the most expensive prices around campus.

I rented this apartment, but it's been really bad because the bedroom is next to a super noisy air conditioner. The noise is so loud that I can't sleep well. The people in charge didn't really care when I told them about the noise. It's expensive to live here, so it's not fair that I have to deal with this loud problem. I suggest not renting this place.
