Turning point saved my life after suffering 35 years with bulimia and anorexia. I highly recommend them to anyone with an eating disorder or substance abuse problem. The staff there really cares about every client and go above and beyond by treating all aspects of the disease's. Including trauma therapy. Never have I ever been treated with more love and respect than at Turning Point.

My fianc has been struggling with substance abuse for a few years now and getting the help that he needs was long overdue. We are located in South Florida which is a 4 hour drive to the center. I'm forever thankful to Turning Point, their team was able to pick him up from our home to go in the center. Not only I didn't have to make that drive since we have a toddler and another baby on the way, but he finally was able to get back to his recovery journey. Highly recommend!

I am an alcoholic and struggled with alcoholism and bulimia for over 20 years. I am now 2 years sober but in no way, shape or form would I attribute any of my sobriety to the time I spent at Turning Point. This program preys on vulnerable people and their families at their lowest point in life. This program is based in control and emotional abuse tactics I wouldnt wish on anyone. Their methods include a breakdown process. To break you they will embarrass you and use information shared in therapy against you. They will try to convince you if you do not follow their rules you will never stay sober. I was forced to wear clothing many sizes to big to break me of my character defect of perfectionism. I was forced to break rules on purpose and accept consequences. I was made to wear food on my clothes and was not allowed to use self care products like a hair brush or blow dryer. I ran out of money and insurance coverage and was offered a scholarship but only under the condition that I call and break up with my boyfriend infront of my therapist. Said boyfriend and I are still together, both sober and have a healthy happy baby together. I was forced to get a turning point approved sponsor and was encouraged to go to a sober living run by an ex Turning Point employee. Their goal is to make money at the expense of peoples lives and sobriety. I almost died in a relapse twice while under their care. Dont go here and dont send your loved ones here. This place should be shut down.
