Had our first visit with our new Ragdoll cats Brady & Toby. Dr Parker and staff are fantastic. Patient and loving as they checked them out.

Dr Parker is amazing. Since we have been down here 7 years we had not been able to find a vet we felt comfortable with until we met Dr. Parker. Our Jack loves seeing all the staff. Highly recommend.

This primary care neighborhood vet charges the same price for blood work that the emergency centers charge. Also, normally, both DVMs and MDs charge you for a new patient visit if you have not been there for a year. Dr. Parker charges you a new patient visit if you have not been there in four weeks. Her prices, quite simply, are obscene. But price is not the only problem. For one thing, she insists on separating you from your pet even for simple procedures such as a blood test or taking their blood pressure. There is no rational reason to put a pet through the anxiety of not being with his or her caretaker because of nonsense like blood tests and blood pressure checks. I suspect she may have undiagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder. She has a rule for **everything**. My cat died today, I took him to Dr. Parkers office to drop of his body for cremation. She refused to give me a room where I could spend five minutes with him before never seeing him again. One of her precious rooms was in use, and she said that the other needed to be decontaminated. Why? Because there had been a cat in there with Giardia. Hardly a legitimate reason to call in the HazMat team. Giardia may or may not be transmittable to humans, but if it is transmittable to humans, it requires touching an infected dogs or cats feces. I assure you I had no intention of touching the feces belonging to the pet who was previously in the room. I walked out and took my baby elsewhere to be cremated. I shall not return. Two weeks ago, she said that my baby needed transfusions to survive. She said that these transfusions would return his blood count to low normal. 20 hours in an emergency center and $3100 later, his blood count was only nudged up slightly, nowhere near normal. She misled me into thinking the transfusions would save his life. They did not. They prolonged his death for only two weeks. Hardly worth him having an IV in his arm for 20 hours. I suspect she did this because of her overly friendly relationship with the animal hospital to which she referred me. This woman has taken over a practice formally owned by Dr. Michael Horbal, the best veterinarian I have ever met. And she has turned it into an over priced hell hole where she tells you the rules and you had damned well better follow them. Because she is, of course, always right. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that two of their techs, Michelle and Christina, are very thoughtful and caring. I hope they get away from her and find new employment before she becomes too much of a negative influence on them. Dr. Parker is, quite simply, out of control.

Sincere condolences, again, on the loss of Creamy. Despite his prognosis with a previously diagnosed, progressive, and terminal illness, he was always full of grace during the 5 months that we were honored to be apart of his care. At 4 Pets Animal Clinic we strive to provide excellent service and compassionate care to all our pets/clients. Accomodating late evening appointments, allowing for extended DVM time, answering after hours emails, providing service discounts and making referrals to your requested emergency facility were all done with Creamy's benefit in mind. As you had hoped, he passed at home. After so many years, we can only imagine the grief. Cherish the many memories made. We also understand that we may not be the practice for everyone. We are systematic, organized and consistent in our medicine and our policies are adaptable not flexible, and ensure the safety and well being of our staff and all our clients. We think our prices are reasonable but know that affordability is different for each individual. With over 30 years of veterinary experience, multiple successful practices and a career in academia we trust Dr. Parker's abilities. We hope that you find a practice that suits your needs where you can be intimately involved in its management and medical practices. We wish you well. The 4PAC Team
