Henderson Behavioral Health

I have been with Henderson for many many years and I am Blessed to say that I am very happy with my service I currently receive from Henderson. They have friendly staff and the Pharmacy is onsite with knowledgeable techs which are also very friendly. I would definitely recommend Henderson as I feel they are a great help to my issues.

Every psychiatrist Ive had at this place is either negative, incompetent, overmedicates you. The one therapist Ive had at this place didnt feel like she cared about and had me just write in a notebook every time in therapy. In summary: Rude reception, they dont fill your prescription unless you go in for the visit and if you cant make it, oh well, they leave you without medicine, unhelpful therapists, rude and unhelpful doctors and staff that only make you feel bad after leaving that place.

If i could put no stars i would. I had an appointment scheduled for 3 PM and got there still haven't been seen by the doctor. My mother and i heard the doctor laughing and talking in the hall while i waited my turn which is an hour past due. i waited an hour and half then eventually got frustrated then asked to be changed to a different location, I had to leave my job early for this appointment which is an inconvenience. This wasn't the first time something like this happened & i was already very annoyed and frustrated. They never have anything updated in the system, i been going to ALL of my appointments with my mom & for them not to have it on record, pulling me from sitting next to my mom to ask me if she's not on paper she can't be there THE SAME PEOPLE SEE ME WITH MY MOM EVERYTHIME I GO. What made it worse was they were speaking like she's a stalker or something.. Mind you the first time the doctor didn't know why i was taking certain meds from my first appointment... Maybe it's just this location because the very first time i went to Henderson in Lauderdale lakes, i had a way better experience, the Lauderdale lake location everybody was nice, respectful, and considerate of people's time. as far as for this location i don't have positives things to say at all.
