Horizon Dental Care

I have been a patient for a while and I think my dentist is great . Dr. Califf always explains the treatment needed and shows he cares . I wanted to get my work done for a while but my insurance denied the claim and no one ever followed thru to fight for coverage . I don't know anything about how that works . I needed implants and gum stuff done .I just put off doing the work because my insurance wouldn't pay. What is the point of having it if they aren't going to cover anything! I wanted to praise the efforts Terra the insurance girl has done. She let me know what was going on, explained to me the process of challenging the insurance, she followed up with multiple letters to my insurance company. Just great customer service and dedication towards the care I needed . Above and beyond! I was so surprised after receiving a letter from my insurance that they finally approved the treatment. This has been treatment I needed for over 2 years and now I can move forward thank you Terra for your help. Highly recommend this office .

This is the worst business I ever have been to. The front desk treats you like youre a degenerate. The staff doesnt know what they are doing. They worry more about money and payments than the patient. I worked out a payment plan in advance and made a first payment prior to the visit and when I arrived it was an entire ordeal as if I did none of this. My financial situation was presented to EVERYONE in the office. Patients, staff, I was MORTIFIED. I was told bc I forgot my purse to leave and come back. I had made payments over the phone before it was so wild to me. I finally said NO just refund my first installment and we will leave. Then suddenly the unacceptable payment plan the front desk worked out with me was just fine. They they tried to do 4 sealants at once on my 6 year old. Who has never had sealants before. The doctor said only 1 at a time is acceptable. My son was sobbing and left with a swollen lip for two days. I have called and left a voicemail that I will be moving providers. You should go here if you dont value your personal business, want everyone to know your finances, be treated like youre a degenerate for no reason and have them totally dehumanize you and your child or family.

Ive been going to Horizon Dental for years and only continue to come back because of Sylvina my hygienist. I have moved since then but will continue to make the drive down because once you find a good hygienist/ dentist- you cant turn your back. I will continue to be a loyal patient as long as Sylvina is there :). Thanks Sylvina!! Youre the best!!
