Im a licensed esthetician who resides in Broward county Florida, and encountered Dermaplane Pro at a skincare convention in Miami. Enthused, I purchased their Dermaplane training in Stuart, FL, with trainer Monique at WU Aesthetics. It was the best purchase I couldve gotten at that convention because Dermaplane Pro is by far a well structured, and professional company to associate with. Monique, as well was extremely professional, friendly, and an AMAZING trainer. She was greatly informative and built great confidence in myself in regards to dermaplaning; especially when I had NO PRIOR knowledge to this modality. The training details: Once you purchase the training, youre sent a confirmation email with ALL the details. The training is separated into two parts. Part one is an educational online course you must complete beforehand at a specific due date in order to be prepared for part two. Part one consists of: online lecture videos combined with pdf slides a print out assignment for your notes a pdf of their dermaplane textbook quizzes to check your knowledge. Once completed, part two is hands on training with Monique and your fellow estheticians. You will receive a well equipped kit upon arrival, and then start off with basic knowledge questions on dermaplaning. Then the fun begins. Monique will show you the proper handling of your scalpel, and you will proceed to practice on your thighs, then knees the first half of training. Afterwards, you will be performing trade off services amongst the other estheticians present. Monique informs you every steps of the way, and helps adjust your new found skill as you perform to enhance a better technique. She gives you credit when youve mastered the correct technique as well, and really helps build up that confidence. Before taking the course, I was nervous but thanks to her I am completely satisfied AND confident with handling a blade against someones face! If you were skeptical about learning this modality prior, I definitely recommend to tackle your fears to add this amazing service to your resume!
