We are extremely happy with the complete renovation of our condo's 2 bathrooms performed by KWHI. Workmanship is high quality, cost was very reasonable and the work was completed on time without a hitch! Scope of our project was replacing existing dated tub/shower combinations in both bathrooms with a walk-in shower with mosaic stone pebble flooring in one bathroom, and for the other bathroom, a new low-entry tub and shower. For both bathrooms new 3-D porcelain shower wall tiles, new glass shower doors and shower fixtures, new wood-look porcelain flooring, new toilets, new baseboards were installed and bathroom walls were resurfaced and painted. When I first called Jose at KWHI he answered right away and shortly thereafter, he went to our condo to assess the work to be done and quickly provided us a very fair quotation. Being out-of-country owners we needed to entrust Jose and KWHI with providing turnkey services during all phases of our project. Jose went above and beyond by accepting multiple deliveries at his residence of materials we ordered, and picked up other materials we had sourced from local stores. It was extremely helpful that Jose was in constant communication with us by phone, text and email, and provided photos and videos at all stages of the project. Jose was also very flexible in ably completing additional out-of-scope work that we requested in other rooms at our condo. Our project was on a strict timeline as our condo is a short-term rental and we needed to work around our rental calendar. Jose carefully managed the project and completed it ahead of schedule. He also ensured that our condo was thoroughly cleaned and ready for our next set of renters! We highly recommend KWHI to anyone looking for a renovator and/or painter. Jose was very easy to work with and very dependable. His attention to detail, quality of craftmanship and flexibility is very evident. We contracted Jose for complete renovations of 2 bathrooms in our condo in Key Largo, Florida. Pricing was very reasonable. Jose was great to deal with as he is very responsive and sent pictures showing daily progression of the work from demolition through all stages to the finish. We live in Canada and had to manage the project at a distance- I can't say enough as to how comfortable Jose made us feel through our daily communications. It was almost like we were there. He is trustworthy and is very conscientious as he takes pride in doing a high quality job- he cares. He and his crew showed up when he said they would and completed all work on time, with time to spare ! Jose is also flexible and did jobs which were not part of the scope of the work, but really helped us out. There was not a problem for which Jose did not have a solution! I hired KWHI to paint the cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms. I could not be happier with the results! The price was very reasonable and the quality of work was excellent. Since the cabinets turned out so great, I also hired Jose and his team for additional projects that included painting baseboards, staining the porch & deck, screening in my deck, installing a garbage disposal, replacing toilets/faucets, and installing outdoor lighting. The screened in deck turned out amazing. The materials used were very high quality and so was the work. Jose is a great contractor to work with and he and his team are very friendly and responsive. They were able to work around my moving schedule and got everything done before I moved in which was way more than expected given the notice I gave them on some of the projects. I would not think of ever using anyone else for work on my house now. I will definitely use KWHI again and refer them to anyone looking for a contractor.
