I cannot say enough about Captain Chris! I had the best time ever. While on vacation in Florida I wanted to go fishing and try and catch a big fish. Captain Chris was very nice and patient and took the time to teach me how to fish as well. We not only got to see dolphins and a few manatees, but I hooked my big fish. I highly recomment Captain Chris and Epic Tails Charters.

We had a great time on the Homosassa River with Captain Chris. Did a lot of sightseeing and fishing--several eagle sighting too.

Have made multiple trips over the last three years with Epic Tails and every single one of them was a fantastic day on the water. Every trip has been safe and professional. The boat is always spotless and the company is always great. The fishing has been exceptional most days and even on the very rare slow day, the company and scenery are fantastic. Captain Chris and his guys can put you on fish inshore or offshore. We have done trips in the backcountry in 2 feet of water and trips 70 miles offshore.
I personally love going offshore and bottom fishing with them the most. Last week, on our most recent bottom-fishing trip over 2 days we caught numerous gag groupers and red groupers, a scamp grouper, hogfish, mangrove snappers, lane snapper, amberjacks, a big nurse shark and a goliath grouper, in addition to other species.
My wife, who is not a serious angler, has joined me several times and looks forward to going every time. Whether you are a serious fisherman or a novice (or want to take the whole family out), they will cater to your experience level and you will have a great time on the water. I have fished up and down the Gulf coast of Florida, but keep coming back to vacation in Tarpon Springs to fish with Epic Tails.

Had a great time on the water with Chris. He knows some great spots and even caught my personal biggest red fish. Highly recommend booking a trip!
