Its difficult to find good service as a an out of towner. After all we might not ever be in the area again so are easy to take advantage of. Bay RV is responsive and professional and I recommend them.

I have no idea how Eric has 4.6 as a review rating. He was supposed to do some warranty work for us, after going through the steps with warranty he was given the money from the warranty company to order our new microwave. Once I got a new microwave picked out and told him he had to order it I could hardly get ahold of him or his assistant. I ended up buying the microwave myself, after that he did give me some of the money he owed me but not all of it. Of course now he wont bother to answer the phone or reply. The last text I have from them is assuring me that they would keep me posted as he had to go out of town for unforeseen issues and that was two months ago on Jan 11 Hopefully one of you read your reviews and pay me the rest of the money you owe me Thanks!

BEWARE Scammer!! DO NOT USE THIS GUY!! DEFINITELY DO NOT VENMO HIM ANY MONEY!!. You have no recourse to get your money back like you do with PayPal, he knew that! We send him $2543 in June to order and install an awning on our RV. To date no awning and false promises to repay the money. I put up a negative review a couple months ago and he asked me to remove it and he would start repaying the money. No money received to date. Our insurance agent also contacted him. Looks like small claims will have to hash this out. Updated 4-12-22 Charged with felony theft in Gulf County Florida over this, do your research! We did not prior to hiring him but we sure did after he stole our money!! Check his arrest history in Florida and Indiana Update: Sorry does not cut it for theft!! Let's hear your side of the story then ERIC SEAN KIPKER!! He has friends and family leave good reviews to counteract his bad reviews! People check out this guys arrest records in Florida and Indiana. I did my research to late. Scam scam. Do you have a driver's license to have a mobile service??????

TLDR: Great start. Horrible finish! (because he NEVER finished anything!) DO NOT use Bay RV Repair! And if you do, DO NOT pay him up front for anything! Full version: September 12, 2022: I left my RV awning up during a rainstorm and the arms broke. Totally my fault. After speaking with my insurance company, I did a little searching and found Bay RV Repair. Eric was in the area and stopped by within 30 minutes. I was blown away. He thought he might have a spare replacement arm back at his shop so he went back over to grab it. Unfortunately, it didn't fit so we had to go back to ordering the parts. He said it would take him a week to get them in and that he'd call me when he had the parts. October 12, 2022: I hadn't heard from Eric in a month so I called the office to check in. His receptionist (or assistant?) didn't have any idea who I was and had no record of my situation and said she'd have Eric call me. An hour later, we had this text conversation: Eric: Tom this is Eric....I can get just the awning arms for about 650-700....I don't think your fabric ripped correct? Tom: Correct Eric: So I can get just the arms for around $700 and then the labor would be 300 We clarified that the $225 I'd already paid was for a service call and that the $300 in labor was over and above that fee. Tom: Okay. So the total is going to be around 1200 including your initial measurement. Eric: Yes sir Tom: Okay. Let's get it going. Eric: I just need the money for the awning arms so I can order them. Eric then sent me a quote with the following: Estimate: $225 (this was already paid) Awning Fabric: $225 (but remember, the fabric is still in good shape) 12 Volt electronic awning arms: $955 Awning hardware: $100 Shipping: $150 Labor: $175 With tax, the total is $2194.90 or $892.10 HIGHER than the original quote (excluding the inflated taxes) October 15, 2022 After some wrangling on the pricing and with insurance, we agreed on a price and Eric asked me to send him money for the parts - which I did that same day. A couple of hours later, Eric texted asking for pics of the awning arms - which I sent within minutes despite the fact that he had been on site and had taken pictures when he was here. October 18, 2022 Text conversation... Tom: I know you said the parts will arrive Monday (10/24 I assume). I'm leaving town Wednesday morning (10/26) and will not be back for a couple of weeks (11/13). So if you're planning on installing before I go, I'll be here. Otherwise, I'll leave a key at the office and we'll have to figure out payment using Cashapp again. That work? Eric: Perfect November 11, 2022 Text... Tom: Hey Eric. I'm back from my trip (2-3 days early). When can we get this awning installed? November 22, 2022 Tom: Okay. I'm sure you can agree this is getting to the point of insanity. I need a date and a time that you'll be here to finish the job. Eric: I still haven't received the arms yet I will try to track him down and see where they're at today November 23, 2022 Tom: Any word? December 2, 2022: Tom: Dude. Come on. What's really going on? I'm writing a google review right now. Next will come the refund demand. I've never asked for my money back in my life, but this is the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor.
