        Dr. Vasquez changed my life. His excellent bedside manner is rivaled only by the mastery of his craft I was unable to walk due to pain. After my microdiscectomy surgery I immediately had no pain and did not need pain medication to manage the surgical site. He has the hands of God. A truly gifted doctor who treats each patient with care. You will not regret choosing him. I was fully functional within a week for a procedure that should have left me in pain for 4-6 weeks. #TheFutureOfNuerosurgery

      Raul Vasquez, M.D., director of complex spine surgery at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, is a spinal neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of complex spinal conditions, including tumors, degenerative spine diseases, spinal deformities, scoliosis, kyphoscoliosis and neurotrauma. He has unique expertise in minimally invasive techniques that result in less pain and complications in a quicker recovery time. Dr. Vasquez serves as an editorial reviewer for World Neurosurgery Journal and Operative Neurosurgery Journal. He is widely published in peer-reviewed medical journals and an invited speaker at national and international scientific symposiums.
