Sad to see this store go out of business. Hopefully the right buyer will come along and keep it alive. Not sure if we want to keep license on the name or sell it with the business. Anyone have advise? We've owned this name for 50+ years. This became my favorite fish when I visited the store. Bertha would give me kisses through the glass!

Once in a great while in the fish store world a store opens up that renews your faith in doing the right thing. Recently I have had fish die from a store just down the street from Ricks, the owner could have cared less even though I showed him the sick fish in his tank where I purchased it from, never again. This NEW STORE IS A TOTAL SECRET BUT WON'T REMAIN THAT WAY FOR LONG. KNOWLEDGEABLE OWNER, SUPER PERSONABLE, FISH ARE INCREDIBLE AND VERY WELL PRICED, GIVE IT A TRY, YOU WILL NOT !!!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE AFTER THAT, I PROMISE YOU THAT. Thanks Rick for bringing honesty and integrity back to the local fish store world for us hobbyists...

Talked with Rick today getting my aquarium set up. The pricing on fresh water fish are very reasonable. I enjoyed my visit and learned a lot.
