I came here. The experience was not what i expected.. For starters They have you watching a very very old video, Then you copy what youve seen from the video onto a mannequin. They didnt let us use actual water, We had to pretend and i got very confused because i didnt know which washcloth was soapy and which was not.. The beds was hard to operate you have to manually crank them up which takes awhile, they are very old so thats why majority students leave them down on testing day.. your back will be trashed after. At some point this establishment started smelling like poop. It got to the point i was literally nauseous. But this isnt the instructors fault. But i would avoid coming here if you have a weak stomach. Now for the instructors, i would have to say Julia left a bad taste in my mouth.. She was very intimidating and didnt engage with us students unless it was to intimidate us once again.. And for Becky!! the beckonator. I absolutely loved her! She has a very soft voice and explained everything so perfectly. Shes way better than Julia in my opinion! If it was Julia teaching instead i wouldve never showed up the next day! Shes blessed to have Becky, without her that business wouldnt be running today. If one day Becky ends up having her own business id 1000% recommend people to go to her! Overall i feel like i didnt get my moneys worth. Couldve been way better in my opinion.

Just passed both my CNA tests thanks to this course! Teaches you everything to go above and beyond at your clinical exams and their practice tests align with the written exam very well.

Halifax Academy goes in to detail for each skill needed to pass the CNA exam. Highly recommend. Staff is wonderful and great learning environment.

Great class and great instructors. Passed my CNA test on the first try. Totally recommend!
