This is a very well-run post office. You can not make everyone happy all the time.

I went there today and as a business owner when I drop off packages I like a receipt just in case something happens to the package. I was greeted with we are not doing receipts today just leave it on the counter in a nasty tone, this was a older women with short hair and glasses apparently she does not like her job and she should be fired so rude and unnessary it would only take a couple of minutes and 4 people were out front.

Worst experience ever with the Sebastian FL Post Office. They caused me an over abundance of stress in an already emotional time during my mothers recent death. My husband brought a package containing thank you notes for people attending my mothers funeral to this office on Tuesday 1/16/24 at approx. 2:30PM and requested overnight shipping to North Andover, MA. The clerk charged him $53 with a guaranteed arrival of Wednesday 1/17/24 at 6PM. The clerk did not pass along the information that packages received after a certain time, could not be guaranteed overnight arrival. My husband heard the truck driver ask an employee if there were any other overnight packages. The employee said no, he had everything. Our package had just been received and was not on the truck. The package was drive Orlando where it was stuck until 1/17/24 9:16PM. I was not able to get another update until 1/22/24 at 7PM where I finally learned it arrived in MA. This package was nowhere to be found since 1/17/24. However, it is clear that in lieu of overnight travel, in actuality, it went ground. There is a lesson to learn here and I hope other people learn from it. Do not trust the Post Office. They are incompetent and arrogant. They think they have important positions and treating the public in an unacceptable manner is ok. It is not OK and should be held accountable for this unacceptable behavior. This clerk caused me an enormous amount of anxiety for giving us false information and charging us for it. Find another way to get correspondence or packages to a recipient. If there was a star lower than 1, I would have selected it.
