I was very upset with the professionalism of the office staff. I drove my mother an hour to get her to her appointment for a common test she scheduled a month prior. She called and verified appointment and also received confirmation a day prior. When we arrived office told her no one was available to conduct the test. They were very nonchalant, as if it were no big deal. It was extremely inconvenient. we were told no one was available to reschedule in the office and we would be called. It has been two days and we have heard nothing. It was very disappointing and we will be looking for a new doctor. It is a shame because this isnt the first cifncot we have had with office staff.

As a patient my rating is 4 Stars. As a Customer dealing with the office, phone system, and getting ahold of people its a 1 Star. Sadly it has been 3 WEEKS and now over 6 calls and well over an hour of total holds times to STILL unsuccessfully get my prescription refilled/prescribed and sent to COSTCO. Hold times unmerciful, then the phone staff seem nice but NOTHING actually happens. Incompetent by the simplest measure. Not sure if the nursing staff or doctors practitioners just aren't getting the job done. VERY VERY disappointed in office, staff, telephone service, answering service (useless why can't the take a message for the office , nurses, or Doctors? - LIKE THIS ONE where they have FAILED. Dr Bilik seems sensible and well versed but at this point its not worth the aggravation for 363 days of these folks to see him twice a year?? I hate being a 'hater' but now I am waiting from weds after failing to get the prescription to Costco to now NEXT Monday to even TRY again and I am sure the hold times will be EPIC all day and the callbacks that happen only 25% of the time?????? Very sad and disappointing. UPDATE : got a return call finally and the prescription has possibly been resolved.

I was canceled for a surgical procedure 3 times on successive weeks at the last minute which indicates the staff is either incompetent or the doctor is not working efficiently for the patient. Having to stop my blood thinners 3 days before each appointment put me at risk that they were fully aware of. Needless to say, Im looking for a new doctor.

I am new to Sarasota and my experience with Dr. Bilik as a first time patient of his was highly satisfactory. He was personable, professional, and explained everything pertaining to my exam in a clear and understandable manner.

Dr Bilik is great. But his staff can be incompetent. My prescription that I was told to pick up at Publix can't be gotten there has to be gotten from a specialty pharmacy and two weeks later still no meds.
