        This was one of my favorite thrift stores. I shopped there when they were 2 stores on Webber and loved when the combined to one store when they moved into the old goodwill location they are at now. Sadly though, I no longer shop there. The prices are WAY too high. I understand that Sarasota prices are higher, and that they give there money to their charity, but the prices are horribly high.Even when they do their 50%off sale the prices are just about where they should start for a thrift store. They need to learn how to comp on eBay correctly. The prices that people are selling their items for are not the sold comps that they are actually worth. They are also not eBay with millions of users. Its sad, but guess that is also living in Sarasota. I would prefer to shop charity thrift stores, but guess I will have to go to Greedwill instead, where the prices are still less than Worlds Attic

      World's Attic Thrift Shop is a non-profit thrift store in Sarasota, Florida. Our shop is full of bargains on various items including clothing, furniture, household goods, children's items, used books, jewelry, gifts holiday gifts, and so much more at second-hand store pricing! We support Missions through the Mennonite Central Committee and local non-profits including YFC, Safe Family Coalition, Loving Hands, The Twig, Gator Wilderness Camp, and others. RE-USE, RECYCLE, REFURBISH, keep it out of the landfill, and be good to the environment. We are a thrift store full of bargains that does just that. Every week, something new is on sale. Looking for our donations center? Our Donation Drive-Through hours are: Tuesday - Friday 10 AM-3 PM.

      I am sorry you are disappointed with our prices. Every week we have a color that goes 50% off and a department that goes 50% off. Though we don't try to price too high, if it is, we know it will go on sale soon. Our proceeds go to missions both here at home and abroad so your money is well spent in serving others.
