I just completed Essentials 2, becoming calm in water above your head. I can confidently say that I went from a person who was very afraid of being in deep water to one who understands what it is like to be in control of my fears and who can comfortably stay calm in water above my head. The course was very effective, well taught and well paced. I felt completely safe at all times, and learned new skills throughout the course. It is amazing to me how much I learned in just a week, and I am signing up for the next class in the series. A big thank you to Melon Dash and her team at Miracle Swimming school for adults. Well worth the investment in myself to overcome what was for me a lifelong fear of water.

After a lifetime of avoiding pools and oceans, I decided that this year I would face my fear of water and learn to swim. I could not have dreamt of a better partner in that quest than Miracle Swimming! The method is simple--but not easy. It required me to UNLEARN all that I believed/thought I knew about my body and swimming. And DO NOTHING except be calm and comfortable in the water. In my first course, the release and transformation happened. There's a reason why it's called MIRACLE Swimming. Mission accomplished!

Miracle Swimming in one word is: transformative. The program is unlike any other for learning to swim comfortably. I highly recommend for any and everyone who has even the slightest discomfort in water.
