We contacted Prestige Builders and worked directly with the president of their company for a quote and work to repair and replace stucco and woodwork on one side of the house to mitigate water leaking through the chimney and wear and tear on a 33 year old home. After working with a couple of unscrupulous contractors it was a relief to work with Chip and his team. Every step of the way, we were kept informed on start date, estimated completion date (which they nailed) and provided a detailed scope of work and estimate upfront; and it only got better after his team arrived. A great team showed up that was composed of highly skilled tradesmen that maintained a clean and safe worksite that always kept us updated on progress. Chip even provided detailed updates and pictures along the way of what was performed and why. It was a major investment to rip out and replace one side of the house but money well spent. Nothing good happened with this company. As soon as we signed, it all went south. I REALLY don’t want to write a bad review and I waited to cool down but I’m doing this as a public service. The job was to re-surface the lanai concrete and replace the drains. The first employee was as nice as can be and began jack-hammering way too deep. He was suffocating in dust with no PPE and to do this day, I worry he has contracted some awful lung issue. Then another guy came, also nice. But no one knew how to tackle this job. Chip answers his phone when you have money, not when there is a problem. Couldn’t get a paint sample more than one square inch LITERALLY. That isn’t good so I drove to his paint people an hour away and they call him and that put him off. Why? Not sure, paint color is important. Anyway, the 5 day job was about 20 days. Looked great on pay day. Except for all the clean up we had to do. Maybe 15-20 shovel-fulls of concrete dust in the pool. Caked on concrete dust on the entire pool cage sides, concrete blobs all over the yard, concrete blobs on the pool tiles- all of them and then.. it rained. Totally, the drains are too small and water now comes up to the door after 10 minutes of raining. Chip says I should call a drain guy. And the “10 year warranty” on the paint - well, it is marked up and like crazy after only 6 months but Sherwin Wms won’t cover the warranty because PWS didn’t seal it. You think I should call Chip back? Why, so he can fix things? Not a chance I would let him touch our place again. What a disappointment and a tragic waste of $6k. Want pictures? Let me know. I work in the healthcare industry and now is a trying time for all of us. I need some stucco repair that was allowing water into the frame. Put a call into Angie's list . Received a call very shortly there after, took photos of the area of concern, Chip evaluated the area and gave me an estimate over the phone. He sent out his worker, Carlos to look a the site and we finalized a quote. They performed the work with my work schedule in mind. We did find some unexpected issues but Carlos did a great job repairing and correcting those issues. Work was completed in one day. Very clean work, better than completive pricing. Will rehire for my next project.

This company was top notch. They fixed a mess another person made and did so on a timely basis. They were very responsive and helpful.
