The Westin Sarasota

Spent $428 on a room and had no AC all night. Part of the curtain in the room was detached and light flooded the room. All in all I spent roughly $700 on site and had the worst sleep of my life between the heat, the light and the worst pillows known to man kind. And icing on the cake is the inability to close the bathroom door so absolutely zero privacy from the other guest in the room. Unlikely I'd risk this amount of money to have such a terrible experience especially since nothing was done for me besides a free breakfast

My husband and I stayed here for months as we planned our wedding in March. We brought friends, family, and sent countless referrals. We had planned in advance to use the rooftop bar for one of our events prior to our wedding and due to the service from the events general manager we ended up taking our party of 70+ people over to Art Ovation rooftop bar instead. It was such an unfortunate way to end 13 months of a relationship with this hotel. If youre choosing between Westin and art ovationchoose art Ovation ;)

Valeria at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Personable and professional. The gym, pool, views, room, food, all of it was fantastic. 100% recommend.
