I have been under the care of Dr. Dattoli since 1996 when diagnosed with prostate cancer. Because of stage I was not a candidate for an operation. 28 years later I am one of Dr. Dattolis happiest patients. Any man facing prostate cancer owes it to themselves to speak and meet this man.

I am a Houston Realtor who is approaching my 10th year of being declared, no detectable cancer, as Dr. Dattoli searches on his Color Doppler screen for any sign of recurrence during my annual checkup. Many people have asked me why didnt I just get it done at our own world-renown medical center. I tell them that I was initially referred to our medical center by my original neurologist, where I was introduced to a surgeon and a radiologist who both seemed competent to get the job done. However, a friend referred me to Dr. Dattoli, saying that he is a pioneer in the treatment of prostate cancer. Dr. Dattoli has since told me himself that he has done just about everything imaginable to the prostate. I was cured by his state of the art, real-time, DART radiation machine; through 20-minute daily visits for a month. Then additionally by Brachytherapy via an overnight hospital stay; whereas they implanted special radioisotope seeds, which died off after a couple of months. I have personally met people whose cancer returned after a prostatectomy and considered themselves to be salvage cases; because they were told in their home state to get their affairs in order. However, they came to the Dattoli Cancer Center as a last resort, and were eventually cured. I also have a coworker who I referred there, that was given 90 days to live. He asked if Dr. Dattoli could cure him although his cancer was in an advanced stage, but Doc replied lets get you treated to see if we can at least avoid getting another uncomfortable stent (and they did). Then after further treatment, he felt better, lived an extra year, and got to travel and see places with his wife before he finally passed. I was proud to play a small role in his extension of time. At my 5-year cancer-free anniversary, I was able to write my name on their wall of fame, where I shared space with dignitaries, sheiks, politicians, (and surgeons), to say the least. Dr. Dattoli and his whole team, has been nothing but a blessing for me and my family. Maybe Ill see you there this summer too.
