True Health - Sanford

I am very disappointed with true health right now. I have been bringing my mom to this establishment for over 20 years and yes she is an established patient. Being a Medicare recipient she has the option to go to many different providers who accepts Medicare. But she has been seeing Dr. Oowouder, and she and I like Dr Oowouder. But some of the staff that works there, just work because it is a job. My mom needed the first appointment in the afternoon if available, because that is when I can bring her. We were told that spot is for new patients and hospital followup. What hogwash is this? If the time is open, then they leave it that way for new patients. What? It is already like pulling teeth just to get an appointment. I think that they are leaving all these open spots for illegal immigrants. I only take my mom there because of Dr Oowouder, if not I will not take here back and will not recommend to anyone else.

This place is great they really do care! As arrived 15 minutes late late due to an accident closer to my home. They went above and beyond to get me an appointment same day! I thank Erika for reaching out to Andrea to see if she can find me another appointment, and I truly thank Andreas manager Eunice for ensuring that Andrea responds to my cry for help; as this first appointment was for court. When Eunice went to talk to Andrea, Andrea then came and got me from the front, and she let me sit with her back in her office, where she was super busy with calls back to back regarding appointments! Which I then understood if I wasnt able to be seen today because of how busy they were! But Andrea didnt give up she kept calling to see who wasnt going to show up today and reschedule as they didnt check-in, therefore I would be able to be scheduled! She found someone and I was able to get an appointment! I was overwhelmed with the result and filled with nothing but joy at that point; so much joy I asked Andrea if I could give her a hug she stated yes and due to everyones hard work my day went a lot better than I thought it would in actuality my year is looking bright. Knowing that this appointment to be seen today is to be met by a courts deadline was beyond important to me. Andrea even gave me a number to reach the department besides the general call center and Eunice gave me her business card for anything that I may need. Today my life was changed and it was due to those who didnt give up on me. So with all of my heart I truly thank you Erika, Eunice and Andrea -Saint

I have been coming to true health for a long time. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. The providers are all amazing at all locations. True health sees everyone no matter what ethnicity you are. At the Sanford location the center manager is amazing and her front staff. The check in process is easier and updated for a faster check in process. The medical assistants are amazing and work great with the providers to assist you with any questions you might have. The referral department is great at making sure your referral is sent to the specialist. I love that they have someone on site if you have questions or want to pick up your referral. They always seem to find a Yes!
