Budget Truck Rental

I wish I could give negative stars. What a terrible experience AND I was overcharged by DOUBLE!!! Budget corporate office isnt helping the matter at all. Very frustrating. I will never again use budget.

Showed up for a 16' truck and there were none. Had to cancel the reservation and deal with two rude customer service agents in the process. Renting from U-Haul now.

I am not usually the type of person to leave negative reviews but Id like to try and help others avoid the stress we had the worst experience with Budget for our move. Months prior we properly planned and booked for a 16 truck with insurance at an extra expense and set our pick up and drop off for this particular location. We arrive to pick up the 16 truck and the lady at the front desk proceeded to tell us she doesnt have any 16 trucks and all she could give us was a 12 truck and could not remove our insurance which we no longer needed for that size truck. I just dont understand the point of offering booking for a certain size truck dedicated for a sized move if youre not gonna hold that truck for the booking. If this is how budget is supposed to operate then purchasers should be made aware of that prior to booking. Luckily we were able to fit all of our stuff between two normal sized trucks and the 12 truck otherwise we would have spent hours driving back and forth between cities due to this poor booking service. Please do yourself the favor and pay the extra money to find a better moving service this really put a damper to our move that day that was completely not worth it.

Do not ever rent a truck from this place. Damian will charge you 10 times the miles you actually drove running your bill up 3 times as much. He is running a scam!

Rented and paid for a 16 truck. Got the confirmation via email that it would be ready for me. I arrive and they dont have any 16 trucks. I can get a 12 truck, but they wont refund me the difference because they cant. They said I can make multiple trips. Im driving from Florida to Indiana. Do NOT rent a truck here.
