Miramar Resort

Disgusting and beneath all dignity. Only the bed and the toilet itself were clean, the AC was full of black mold and stank like vinegar and smoke. The furniture was all broken and worn, as if it had survived at least one water damage. The tip of the iceberg were cockroaches all over the bathroom. Disgusting! Left the place earlier. Only good thing here where the location and the possibilities to do something on site like playing table tennis, sitting under a gazebo or similar.

CAUTION !!!!!!!!!! if trying to book a room at the Miramar Resort using Expedia!!!! We booked a room for two nights on Expedia.Credit card was charged and we received our confirmation and itinerary number. Left for the five hour trip after packing up. About three hours into the trip we received a call from the front desk telling us that the booking should have never gone through and that they had no rooms available. We were told that it was not their fault and we should call Expedia. Also that we needed to find another place to stay while we were driving. We still have not received any explanation from either company as to why this happened, just a lot of finger pointing and shoulder shrugging. There was no offer from either regarding compensation for our experience. If this relationship is this fragile,seedy,and totally untrustworthy then We will never,ever,use Expedia or try to stay at the Miramar last Resort again!!!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. I cant believe they can advertise this place like some retro beachside stay when its in fact a run down outdated shoddy tiny room with cracks in the ceiling and rusted finishes. The patio was completely flooded when we arrived. Only one of the lamps in the room actually worked. The price is absolute extortion. Yes, it is close to the beach. But it should be advertised as a small $50 hostel you can book if you want no comfort at all and just beach access. Whoever took the marketing photos for this place deserves every dollar they got because its the most false advertising to what youll actually receive. Never again.
