On 2 April, 2024 I went here in the afternoon to buy a $199.00 tool. I had to find someone who said they would have someone who was assigned to that department show up. After a short time, a person showed up and asked me if I was done shopping? I said yes, then the person asked, "You know this tool doesn't come with a battery or charger?" I said, I was fully aware. The person walked me up to the counter with the tool in their hand. I paid and left the store and drove home. Once I got home I noticed that the tool was the wrong size. I wanted a 3/8 drive instead of 1/2 inch. Took the tool back got my refund and went to the same isle to look for the correct tool. Went to several isles looking for employees to unlock the tool cage, but was unsuccessful. I walked towards the checkout counters and noticed a person in a ball cap and asked if they could send someone down the tool Isle to unlock the tool cage, the person said they would send someone there. I stood in front of the tool cage for 17min and no one showed up. I decided to exit the store and as I walked past the person who was suppose to send someone to me locked eyes with me, the thing turned it's head away immediately. I drove to Lowes and purchased the tool I needed within 4min after I went into the store. Won't be spending my money at any Home Depot.
