Will is a great guide and a nice guy. I enjoyed the time on the water, and learned a bit along the way. We caught snook, mangrove snapper, sheepshead and jacks. I wouldnt hesitate to book Will if youre looking for an attentive guide, great gear and good company!

I fished on November 12, 2022 with Salt Yak (Will). It was a fantastic experience! I am an experienced angler who lives in Maryland. When I called Will to get to know him and set up the charter, it was like talking to an old fishing buddy. We met at the launch and I was early. Will was ready to go. When we launched he had me orient myself with the kayak. Once we started fishing he was an expert about the area and knew right where to find the fish. I really enjoyed the way he worked with me. I have never fished for snook, sheepshead, jack, redfish. And how quickly he got me on the fish! I look forward to my next visit to Tamp, and my next charter with Salt Yak! If you have the opportunity you should book a trip with Will!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I can't say enough good things about Will & Erin. They are great people who truly care about you and your experience. My husband and I tried both the kayak fishing as well as the shark experience and would recommend both to anyone! The kayak fishing is a very unique and 'intimate' fishing experience that you wont find anywhere else. We were able to go places on the kayaks that you couldn't get to on a boat and also see some wildlife (manatees and dolphins) up close while still fishing. While my husband is an avid fisherman, I am not. While I enjoy fishing, I don't do it as often as I would like too so I was a little hesitant going on the kayaks as I am not comfortable with all things fishing. Will and Erin assured me that they would be there to help me the whole time, and they held true to their word. They were 100% accommodating and I truly appreciated it. The shark experience was EPIC! Reeling in a shark is a thrill everyone should experience. Will & Erin are great people and are very knowledgable in providing everyone the safest & best experience possible. We are 1000% happy with our experience and will be return customers!

One of my best days in fishing! I hired Salt Yak to help accelerate my learning in fishing from a kayak. I'm new to Florida and new to kayak fishing, so I was eager to learn all that I can. From my first encounter with Will (my guide) by text, it was evident that he is passionate about fishing and providing a world class experience for his clients! He was meticulous in giving details about the trip, from daily updates regarding go/no go decision to meeting at the tackle shop to discuss gear. Throughout the trip, I felt safe and comfortable, and I could tell that Will was putting in a lot of effort to make sure everything went smoothly. As a bonus, he even took some great photos of me and the fish we caught. We fished a full day for several species. Anytime you lose count of the fish you've caught, you know it was a good fishing day! With or without catching any fish, Will far exceeded my expectations of learning the ropes of inshore kayak fishing! Salt Yak Charters is a first-class operation, and I give them 5-stars! Looking forward to my next trip.
