We did the date night class and it was the perfect alternative to our norm of dinner and drinks (although you can bring your own!). Bella was our instructor and not only did she really know her stuff, she also had the patience of a saint. Someone please give this woman a raise! This was a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere which helped because we were all newbies. A fun and different experience that I would highly recommend!!

My wife and I recently took a pottery class at Charlie Parker Pottery and we had a great time! The instructor, Bo, was very knowledgeable and patient, and he helped us learn the basics of pottery in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We started the class by learning how to center the clay on the wheel. Once we had mastered that, we moved on to making bowls. We also learned how to decorate our pieces with glazes. We were both surprised at how quickly we picked up the skills of pottery. By the end of the class, we had each made several pieces that we were proud of. In addition to the instruction, we also enjoyed the atmosphere of the studio. It was a small, intimate space, and we felt like we were part of a community of people who were passionate about pottery. We had a minor hiccup with registration at the beginning, but the studio was very responsive and helpful in resolving the issue. Overall, we had a great experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning pottery.
