Dr. Scott Putney was very thorough. He took his time to hear my concerns and ensured I was comfortable with the treatment plan. The xray techs were fantastic and gentle while managing a painful fracture!

Extremely Grateful. I have a shoulder injury that progressed to the point of having a very limited range of motion in my arm, as well as severe pain - especially at night. I was scheduled for an appointment at an Orthopedic practice in Jacksonville for a Friday morning, and the morning of the appointment I woke to a cancellation text. I was distraught. I began doing some research and called Flagler Orthopedic Specialists, expecting not to be able to get an appointment for at least a week. Christine, who answered my call, was creative with finding an opening as soon as the following Monday, as well as empathetic about the different types of injuries and associated pain. Before ending the call, I asked if she could ask the Doctor if there were any OTC pain meds I could take that would get me through the weekend that weren't in the NSAID class. Returning to the line, Christine asked me if I would be open to coming in that afternoon to be seen by a PA (Patrick). She explained that she consulted with the doctors and considering my pain level and inability to take NSAIDS, convinced them to try to squeeze me in. I was in disbelief. I had a charmed few hours that day it seems. I filled out my paperwork online, and when I arrived was greeted by the women at the front desk, and ushered back to get xrays. Jasmine took my x-rays and was lovely, my nurse Tanya was kind and efficient, and Patrick - the Physician Assistant who made time in his schedule to see me, diagnosed my issue, came up with a treatment plan, showed me numerous google images of the problem so I had a full understanding, and gave me a cortisone shot. I have a plan for the next thirty days, an idea of what to expect....and my pain decreased significantly. Thank you again to: Christina, Jasmine, Tanya & Patrick - I hope you realize what a difference you made.

The entire team in this practice is amazing! My husband had a broken hip, and Dr. Rosenbaum, Taylor and Jed all worked together in a very risky procedure to get it fixed. The staff in the office is incredibly compassionate and easy to work with, and the whole team, top to bottom, is 5-star, across the board.

Boy am I glad I don't actually need to go here. My primary wrote a referral for me to see these folks for my shoulder. I called them today to figure out what I need to do to schedule an appointment. I explained to the lady on the phone what the doctor told me to do. She snapped back, "Okay, who am I talking to?!" She as really short with me and sounded frustrated that I even had the nerve to call. After a few more questions, including my insurance, she said they don't take my insurance. She said I should call them and ask them. I said I wouldn't even know what to say and she barks back, "Just what I told you!" I really don't know what this lady has been though the past few days and health care workers are putting themselves at risk right now to help all of us. And I know they get tired of answering the same questions over and over. But that's what they sign up for. I just want my shoulder to feel better and I don't have a degree in insurance lingo. I was just following my doctor's instructions. A little patients and even maybe some levity would go a long way. I'm sorry she's having a bad day/week/whatever and I am more than grateful for all that the health care community does for us. I was just trying to understand what I needed to do while also in a lot of pain. Doesn't matter, though, I guess, because I'll be going somewhere else anyway. If that lady happens to see this, I hope your day goes better and thank you for all you do.
