My recent stay was nothing short of a nightmare. The rooms were disgustingly filthy, littered with hair and debris, creating an unsettling environment. Not only was the cleanliness severely lacking, but the rooms were also dangerously disorganized, with hazards lurking in every corner. To make matters worse, the gentleman from India who tended to guests' needs was shockingly rude and unaccommodating, displaying a complete lack of hospitality. Overall, my experience at this hotel was a regrettable one, and I strongly advise against subjecting oneself to such appalling conditions and disrespectful treatment

Office staff was professional and asked me several times if there was anything that I needed. The units are old, just like the rest of St Augustine, but they updated the rooms rather well in my opinion. If you want glamorous - stay elsewhere. It served the purpose for us and cannot beat the location. AC worked great. Linoleum floors (hate old hotel carpet). No amenities but we werent looking for any. We chose this hotel for location. The rooms are on the pricey side - but youll pay it for location alone. No complaints.

The room looked like it had been updated. However, room 108 must have had water damage. I'm glad the ceiling didn't cave in. The lamp on one side of the bed didn't work. The bathroom had bugs flying around the toilet. I will say that the bed was somewhat comfortable. $150 for a night seems steep. I realize it's on Anastasia Blvd (on the island), right down the road from downtown St Augustine, yet it's not worth that much money for a night. The motel needs to make sure they put rooms out of order to ensure the rooms are 100% ready for a guest. Make sure maintenance fixes the ceiling in room 108. A questionable ceiling is not ideal. Also, I'm glad I wasn't alone in the room. There's no deadbolt on the door. That is very worrisome. Shouldn't that be illegal? Nearby activities: There are bars and restaurants close by. Downtown is right down the road. Safety: No deadbolt on the door!!!
