The Local - St. Augustine

Our stay was great! Cute space, convenient location, and easy access to our room. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling into the city. We were a short Uber ride from good bars and restaurants.

Easy check-in via the app. They also checked in via text to ensure we had everything we need. The room was clean, towels were soft and pillows were fantastic. Great for the price !

We stayed here as a family one night. I was skeptical about the no front desk. The app was easy to use. I actually ended up thinking it was a BETTER experience not to have front desk. The texting the time i needed someone was SUPER easy and attentive. Location was fine. White noise machine was provided. I always travel with one. Some reviews complained of road noise, but as a resident of a major US City I didn't think it was loud at all. It was cute. Very clean in the two rooms I checked out. We got great sleep after a long day of travel and evening exploring. Pretty close to everything in St Augustine. Convenience store across the road for anything you might need like a soda or water before tucking in. Would use again if my travels bring me to St. Augustine. Nearby activities: Close to historic St Augustine.

The hotel is so adorable! It has been renovated and looks gorgeous. Rooms are small but adequate. Service is top notch. The location is perfect between the beach and the mainland with historic downtown attractions. Alligator Farm is 6/10th of a mile down the road you should definitely check it out and be sure to visit Marineland for a dolphin encounter both on Anastasia Island. Lighthouse is near by too. Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfortable. Newly renovated and adorable! A smart TV would be a nice upgrade. Love the contactless check in and keyless entry! Nearby activities: Alligator Farm is right down the road 6/10th of a mile. Marineland is a 20 minute drive for dolphin encounters. Historic downtown with shops, restaurants, historic building just 4 minute drive. Beach and pier 10 minute drive. Food & drinks: Mojo Tacos across the street has awesome grouper and shrimp tacos! Our favorite restaurants were Casa Reina and Harrys Seafood Bar and Grill. Right near door to each other right on the other side of the bridge in the downtown area.
