Tom was EXCEPTIONAL! I have purchased 9 properties including 4 investments and two commercial, and I have never had anything close to an experience like I did with Tom as my realtor. Tom was a referral from a realtor in a different city, so we (my wife Stacey and I) had absolutely no idea what were getting. We started looking at investment properties with boat docks for our boat in the St. Augustine area, and Tom showed us several of which we put an offer on one but didn't get. We changed our minds and wanted to look at homes "close to the beach" in the St. Augustine area, and Tom showed us several. We made a long-shot offer on another property and didn't get it either. We then looked at houses with marsh views. I've been in customer service my whole career, and I truly thought we were every realtor's nightmare because we were all over the board. The icing on the cake was we then decided to look at homes in another city--Flagler Beach; and, Tom never flinched. He ran listings, discussed each house we were interested in at length explaining the positives and negatives. He set appointments, showed us house after house until we were exhausted. I thought for sure Tom was going to tell us to "take a hike" and stop wasting his time. He never did! He was professional, positive, informative and has a phenomenal work ethic. We called/texted at 8PM, and he always responded. My wife actually advised him to set boundaries with his customers (ha-ha). We bought a beautiful home at Flagler Beach, and we got it for a very good price thanks to Tom. He used his experience and negotiation skills to seal the deal. It was Tom's idea to request the house with all its furnishings, which would have cost another $25k to replace, and we got it! As if all the hurdles we cleared wasn't enough, we had a 1031-Exchange offer contingent upon our commercial building selling. Once the offer was accepted, Tom ensured everything went smoothly. He met the inspectors because we live out of state. Tom negotiated the few items we needed repaired, helped us navigate the existing long term rental of the upstairs unit, and provided great insights as to how we could incorporate and manage the two downstairs Airbnb units. Tom is a great communicator verbally and with his body language. He never showed frustration with us, and I'm an expert at picking up those ques. I found Tom to be genuine and sincere in his communications and actions. Once again, I've never had such a positive experience with a realtor as I had with Tom, and I cannot give enough praise or recommendation to share with other potential buyers/sellers. Tom was great to work with! We were relocating from CA to FL and he made the process so much easier than it could have been. Tom is knowledgeable, friendly, and was able to secure our dream home for us. He was always available to answer our questions, even with the time change. He offered great insight to the various areas which was so helpful since we knew nothing about them and took detailed videos of homes and neighborhoods when he came across something he thought we would like so we didnt miss out on any opportunities just because we were out of state. Couldnt have done it without him!
