I too would rate below 1 star if that was available. I don't ever do reviews and only contemplated after such a very bad experience and my EXTREME patience while I tried to amicably resolve it. We contacted Compass to repair our 2 Viking ovens. First, it took quite a while to get the technician (I think the owner) to come out. He diagnosed our problem to be failing igniters (turned out to be 100% false it seems) in our two ovens. Once he found out we had a home warranty that would be reimbursing us, he even basically commented that he would make sure it was a strong quote for his benefit -- but I ignored that, probably shouldn't have, but there aren't a lot of Viking listed repair services around here. Then, it took forever and repeated calls to get the igniters replacement scheduled. Finally, once the igniters were installed, he got his $400 (pretty hefty) or so and left. Clearly not a great experience at that point, but I assumed it was fixed at least. WRONG. A couple hours later I tried the ovens, and of course, there was ZERO difference in heating/pre-heating performance and I would say the igniters looked to glow exactly the same as the supposed "failed" ones. How could this have not been tested before he left, by the way? When I immediately called to report the issue still persisted exactly as it had before the "repair", I was told it was probably a gas regulator adjustment and he would happily come back and address it. That was 2.5+ months and about 30 unreturned calls ago now... AVOID!
3/5/2021 UPDATE: Got the other local Viking-certified repair company out. Turns out Compass did me even worse than I thought, if that was possible, he replaced the ignitors with NON-VIKING parts (Frigidaire part numbers, that are about 1/4 the list price of Viking, while charging me Viking level prices and aren't operating to spec based on amps measurement). Whether the ignitors are the problem or not is still unknown, but as a Viking-certified repair company they won't do anything until those are now replaced AGAIN, this time with actual Viking parts. Talk about a scam!

Rob came out to our house and seemed great. However, he left promising an estimate, and never emailed, called, or came back. We can not reach anyone at Compass even after multiple calls.

Very helpful, has come out to repair our AC a few times, even after hours to make sure we slept in cold AC! Good prices & good service
