The Goddard School of St. Augustine (County Road 210)

We agree with the poster who shared the class size has increased from when our child first started as well. Its very concerning to see the hardworking preschool/vpk teachers trying to manage so many kids, at various times only one teacher present including during drop off/pick up. Weve noticed the noise levels have increased in the classroom and several kids competing for the lone teachers attention. The ratio often seems off. Its a great school, just need more awesome staff. A group of us are monitoring the situation and will have to make tough choices if this is not addressed.

Please refrain from misleading people. My daughter attended the school, and I had a genuine experience. You sent me an email requesting the removal of my comment, which I did not comply with. I provided an explanation of what occurred in that email. It is unacceptable to request the removal of Google reviews, and this is not an acceptable practice.

Just pulled my child out of Goddard after 1.5 years. What began as a complete debacle of monthly staff turnover had settled into a sense of normalcy when my son classed up into the Turtles with Ms. Tina. Ms. Tina is truly a bright spot on this mismanaged for profit school. The deck was shuffled this summer, enrollment appeared to have doubled and the overwhelming number of kids has become too much for us. Its evident from the start this place is a money making venture. The class sizes are bananas and while they tote student to teacher ratios this just mean you can have 20 toddlers running around a room with two teachers. Im no expert in child development but I can attest from personal anecdotal experience its a zoo. The turnover of the staff is staggering. In 1.5 years my son has had over a dozen different teachers. The mainstays are phenomenal but the free agents they pull out of high school graduations are there just long enough to learn their names. Pulling my child out of this school is evidence enough of my dissatisfaction. It does not warrant a 1 star review because, despite the owners best efforts, the teachers are keeping this place running. They genuinely care and are doing everything they can to care for your child.

This is absolutely a best place to put in your kid. My son was in infant class and he really miss Ms. Ashley we had great and wonderful experience with goddard

Our kids have been at Goddard for 2.5 years and we have been fortunate to meet some great teachers along the way. Mrs. Colleen was both of our boys first teacher and helped us feel comfortable with daycare. She looks after the babies as if they are her own and they all love her! Our oldest is with Mrs. Tia and Mrs. B in the 3s class and they do a great job of preparing them for kindergarten and having fun activities planned. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking.
