Claude's Chocolate

Just recently I took my girlfriend and mother to St. Augustine's historical district for the first time and we happened to find Claude's Chocolate. I'm not much a chocolate person however, my girlfriend and mother were, the lady working inside the shop, her name is Debbie and she was absolutely incredible, just soooo friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable. I was completely blown away with Debbie and with what the store had to offer. Claude's Chocolate is truly a hidden gem.

We went in for Gelato and some chocolates to take back home for our family. Understaffed for a Saturday the wait time was about 10-13 minutes to be waited on for Gelato and candy purchases. Needless to say the price we paid for a scoop of Gelato was way overpriced and the portion served was not even a full scoop, server used a teaspoon to scoop Gelato. The candy we purchased (chocolates) were not fresh. Chalky taste, did not taste like Belgium chocolate like the sales associate said they were made from. Not a good experience .
