The Palmer Inn & Tennis Club

We belong to the pool here at the Palmer Inn... Normally it is a very enjoyable time but today... at 1pm... We showed up and the entire pool area is wrecked. Tables and chairs everywhere they should not be including in the pool. Empty food boxes everywhere. Broken and torn up floats and swimming garbage in the pool and little broken water balloons both inside the pool and all around the surface also including into the pond next to the pool. The trash in the pond was also unacceptable. Water fountain now broken... Bathroom A/C now broken... Many parts of the surface broken... The storage room door was also standing wide open with no lock anymore...3 chairs were cut up with a knife and left on the deck.... My question is this... WHAT THE HECK WAS ALLOWED TO DO THIS HERE? Who was monitoring it? Went up front and told the lady about it.... SHE DID NOTHING but say...." just pick it up what you don't want and throw it away"... WHAT KINDA RESPONSE IS THAT? She made ZERO attempt to even see what was out there.... We did our best to clean the area in case someone else showed up with younger children...This place will never match the Swiss Inn and it's previous owners...They were amazing and always cared... Reputation does mean a lot!!! I am disgusted with the Palmer... This review is for the response we got when we notified the front desk staff... That was more disgraceful then the condition of the pool....

The room attendant ran after us to return my wife's wallet, that had 400 cash in it- all the money was still in it and everything, check in process was easiest and most convenient I've ever experienced, highly recommend.
