Last month I had two teeth that needed help. Almonds had broken them in half and I never got them taken care of.  I'm such a baby when it comes to the dentist, that I just could not bring myself to volunteer and go in.  It had come to the point of no return though and work NEEDED to be done.  were talking infection at this point.So, I was sent here  because I needed two extractions.  A painful thing, but it needed to be done. Oh My GAWD.  I LOVE this dentist. Now,  I'm petrified of needles so understand I'm the biggest baby....  I'm terrified of anything needle like, and seeing it/feeling it going into my body/mouth/arm/anywhere.  Palms sweaty, and fearing the wort day ever, I reclined back into the chair.  I had taken the tiny 2 pills that he told me to take an hour before. I was starting to go into that calm yet not tired, LaLa land.Heart racing from nerves, he grabs my upper lip, does this shake quick thingl and poof- the first needle of numbing goes in. Then again, then again, always with the grabbing and the shaking of my lips.   Here's the thing... I did not even FEEL it! AMAZING!!I was sitting there, feeling like I was on cloud nine. (Good drugs? great numbing stuff? who knows).An hour later and I was out of there and giggling like a school girl.  I could not feel my face. It was like a great night at studio 54, doing rails off the bartop. That's how numb I was. Completely in NO pain.6 hours later after I went home to sleep the numbing started to wear off. Then there was PAIN.  but remember I'm a baby.I was not prescribed any pain med's- yet- did not need them.  and I'm a wimp.Awesome kind, gentle dentist with an AWESOME staff to boot.  I now tell everyone to go to HIM!!!Thanks Dr. Rentz!!!!
