Coco Wood Grill

Entire staff was friendly. Service was excellent. Our server, Chris, was super helpful with recommendations. Muscles, Soft-shell crab tacos, Flatbread with lobster. Everything was delicious. Desserts were to die for! Ask to see the tray! Nice cocktail menu too. We were there for lunch. Made dinner reservations on the way out.

First visit. Server, Taylor was great. Their outdoor space is so pretty but also very noisy. Its unfortunate they dont have space in back. Theres really nice plantings to block the view of Gulf Blvd but sure cant hide the noise. Maybe well sit in next time. They offer Caesar or house salad with the entree. Go house!! Its fantastic with strawberries, blueberries, blue cheese and mixed greens. Id go back for the salad. Our entrees were a bit disappointing. Hubby had blackened mahi mahi which he said lacked flavor and I had the fish tacos which also were lacking. Theyre still pretty new so hoping they step up the spice/flavor.

This was my first time at Coco Wood Grill. Went with a large group of friends. I was disappointed in the crab stack salad. It could have been amazing as it was fresh and lump crab with avocado looked amazing. Beautiful presentation. However, huge chunks of onion in it were so strong that they have completely overpowered and ruined my meal. Onions was all I could taste. I suggest to take the onion out of this dish completely. Service was slow. I'm not sure if I would go again. My friends seemed to be satisfied with their meals though.
