Laishley is a good old style Florida seafood restaurant. Its big inside and they have it decorated in a charming way. Beautiful outside dining area with a large outside bar and great view of the Charlotte harbor. I had the fried grouper and it was cooked perfectly and my friend had the Shrimp which she said she loved. I have been there once before and had one of the seafood salads and it was excellent too. I tend to order a glass of pinot Grigio and must say that it was the worst one I have ever tasted. When I ordered it this second time at Laishleys I took a sip and then remembered how awful it was and sent it back. Other than that its a good place to go but is extremely busy during the winter months. Your best bet to avoid waiting 45 minutes for a table is to either find a seat at the bar to eat, or wait to eat around 2 to 2:30. Have no idea about the crowds in the evening. Very lovely place and a restaurant we take our out of town guest to, weather permitting. Service is very good and prices are reasonable.
