The office is extremely unkept and dirty. The customer service was absolutely horrendous and incredibly slow.

A smaller post office compaired to most. But the staff is very nice. Even with the holiday rush the line isn't that bad.

Definitely the best trip to the post office Ive experienced. Helen and all the ladies were such a pleasure. Helen went above and beyond with her customer service and attention to detail. I live in Jensen and will now always drive the extra 5 minutes to come here instead.

If I can give this post office zero 0 star or minus zero -0 I will definitely do it. Supervisor o Manager on site very nasty, unprofessional, I was there trying to put return labels receipt on two different letters and she gave me those labels and basically she directed me to do her job, I told her I will not do it because when I was peeling one of the labels were damaged and I didn't want to mess up my letters, then she was mad at me and told me that I didn't want to do it, I told her I wish to do it but I didn't want to mess up my letters. Finally she proceeded to peel the labels and do her job with a very angry face and frustration on her eyes. I paid my certified letters with labels on it and left the place, but when I was in my car I realized that I was missing one of the receipts and I returned inside and made the line again to ask her where is my missing receipt. I was in shock when I observed the manager talking about me and she was telling the other client in front of me how stupid I was that I didn't want to help her put the labels on envelopes. She does not deserve the job she has, Very Disrespectful lady, she offended me in front of all the people. She has no Customer Service Skills. She was very rude making comments about me with other customers telling them I was a stupid client. She said she is the manager, while I don't think she is, she is not even capable to run that position, but please, please do not visit this post office you are in risk of being verbally abused in front of a bunch of people and in the top of all that you have to do their jobs.

BE AWARE! Unlike the Johnson Street Post Office the Port Salerno Post Office has a poorly knowledgeable staff. Twice I went to Port Salerno and twice received the wrong information . Never are any of the staff members forth coming about complications that will cause the delivery of your mail to fail. i sent a registered letter with a check enclosed to the Philippines. The cost was around $17.25. and assured it would be delivered in 5-15 day. So not true! I didn't have time to research whether my letter was going to be delayed or if the check enclosed would be stolen. I like many others didn't know that UPS doesn't deliver everywhere. Instead the mail is delivered to the other country then their Post Office takes charge. A letter or a package is inspected at customs and a fee is imposed only to be paid by the person picking up the letter or package. The fees are often so substantial that the items sent are just left there. All this should be explained to the person sending whatever out of the country. NOT THE PUBLIC'S JOB to know about such details however it is the U.S. POSTAL SERVICE staff who should know and care enough to pass on V.I.P. information.
