Very unprofessional company not trust worthy and dishonest. This company is not supportive of Veterans.
Here is our story. We have been working with Gary for couple of months and during that process we were searching for a lot to build. We finally found a perfect corner lot. This lot was cleared , leveled and filled at one time previously. So the lot owner told us the lot prep will be 3 to 5 thousand as he already got it priced. Paul, who we were told is the owner of the company finding out later this is untrue went to assess the lot and give us a lot prep price. During this time our mortgage company contacted Paul to fix an error in paperwork. During this phone call Paul was so disrespectful bad mouthing us with his language and comments ," why are they going with a VA loan", and tried to get the mortgage company to make us use a conventional loan. The mortgage company was actually the one who convinced us to go with a VA loan as it is a better loan for us. There are certain guidelines the builder has to follow for a VA loan. He wasn't happy about that, so his lot prep price came out to be 14,800 ! Knowing good and well we had a budget and priced it so high that we would have to back out. There was not one tree on this lot and was leveled and filled!! He never returned our phone calls as to why the price was 3 times the should be amount. Very unprofessional and definately not good business practice. I guess we should have know when we were searching online to find out anything about this company and found nothing. Not BBB acredited. Look elsewhere.
