I'm a 72 year old white man. On foot I walked in this location after getting a couple things at another place. No signs on the door about the ridiculous supposed leave your bag policy. Screw you. Try profiling and follow them around instead of making the rest of us feel insulted. What am I..a gangsta rappuh? I will never shop DG again.

I always love going to Dollar General I use the app to clip coupons & especially Saturdays you get $5 off $25. Very low prices for brand names & their brands aren't bad either. Holiday decorations are great here too

Go there today and to my surprise at 4p.m. there is a sign on the door "Temporary Closed to Stock Coolers." Seriuosly either hire some people to properly run it or shut it down. Just plain Horrible!!!!!

I walked in to Dollar General today to purchase a few items for my small business. First time in the store, I walked in with my sister, who has life-saving refrigerated medication in her bag. We were asked to leave her bag with strangers behind the front desk and told they would keep an eye on it. When we said she had life-saving medication that she doesnt typically separate herself from, that needs to be refrigerated and cant go in 100 degree weather in the car, they stated that we still needed to release her bag to them and that there is a sign on the front door. We promptly left. I understand that the area is low income, and that there is probably a theft issue, but that would be for the employees and management to keep an eye on their customers. Customers should not be penalized and made to feel like criminals for holding life-saving medication. If you would like to go to the Dollar General and you have a large bag holding life-saving medication, be prepared to decide whether you want to leave your refrigerated medication in 100 weather in your car or leave your life-saving medication with strangers, and then trust them to keep an eye on it. With the current state of the world, Im surprised that they think anybody would feel comfortable leaving their personal belongings, especially if there are valuables with a stranger.. if you dont trust me, why should I trust you?

Asking people for their personal belongings upon walk in and making them feel like criminals is going to put this location out of business. I have life saving meds in my bag that need to be kept cold, I cant leave my bag in my car and Im not leaving it with strangers. If you dont trust me, why should I trust you. Im going to take my high salary elsewhere and tell all my friends. Bye.
