Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

When dealing with a bank you chose to put your money in, it should be streamlined and efficient when coming in to do business with them. Having only two tellers during lunch hour shows poor managment skills. Even worse is seeing how long the line is and pulling the other teller off to go and help the other one with a problem (I understand things happen). Leaving all the customers standing there while the manager asks people in line what they are here for instead of getting behind the counter and helping. Not very professional and I will not be returning to that location.

I spent two days at Bank of America at Bayonet Point trying to get their endorsement on an insurance check that was written to both of us from FEMA because of a pre-existing home equity loan and lien that had been closed in October. This is December. They insisted that the loan department had to approve the endorsement. When we finally got through, Loans said of course they didnt have to approve the endorsement since there is no loan and there is no lien. The assistant bank manager still insisted that the check was tied to a loan and insisted she still could not endorse due to liability. I came to this branch at embassy and in two minutes the manager looked at the check, looked at the satisfaction of mortgage, looked at my account and confirmed everything was clear, and endorsed it so I could pay my contractor. Thank goodness the manager at this bank knew what she was doing. If I hadnt found this smart branch manager I would have had to contact FEMA and have them cut a new check, and who knows how long that wouldve taken, probably another 60 days or so. A longer drive for me but definitely this is my new branch!
