I was lucky enough to have my car break down near EMG Motorsport just as they were closing up. They helped push my car to their shop and got me set up quickly and courteously. Brian was clear with the work needed and was able to complete the work on schedule. I was back on the road the very next day. They went out of their way to help when they could have just gone home. Ive been going to see Brian and his team for years. Hes the only mechanic Ive used since 2015 and weve never been disappointed with his work. Highly recommend!! Prior to engaging with EMG, I had noticed their signage over the course of a few years, yet harbored reservations about entrusting my high-end vehicle to just anyone. However, after deliberation, I decided to take a leap of faith, and I must say, the outcome surpassed my expectations. The level of communication, the sophisticated technological solutions employed, and the consistent provision of progress updates through video documentation truly exemplify a profound commitment to the care and maintenance of these mechanical marvels. For those well-versed in automotive culture, it is widely understood that vehicles transcend mere possessions; they become extensions of oneself due to their intricate inner workings. In my case, my aspiration was not merely to own an SL63, but to find a trustworthy custodian capable of safeguarding and enhancing its performance. The significance of entrusting such a finely crafted piece of machinery, which embodies nearly six decades of unparalleled craftsmanship, cannot be overstated. Yet, I am pleased to report that Brian and the entire team at EMG have demonstrated exceptional competence and reliability. Took my car in for a few different jobs. Brian is a nice guy but when it comes to high performance vehicles that take detailed work I was left very disappointed and should have found a different shop months before. Time after time, timelines were missed. In fact, Id say 95% of the timelines were completely missed. Paid thousands and thousands of dollars over a span of 4 months and yet my car didnt seem to be a priority. Communication was extremely lacking - I would have to follow up constantly to get updates. Worst part is paying for fixing a clutch leak and it was delivered still clearly leaking if not worse. Did it actually get done? I dont know for sure. Multiple times I would pay to get a fluid or boost leak taken care of only to arrive and it wasnt fixed and new issues would suddenly be present since dropping off the car. Tried to give the owner a chance to make up for it, told me hed make something happen and after following up 3 more times and another 7+ days behind his promised date I am not surprised nothing happened. Same process as usual from my experience the past 6 months. This is nothing personal, but an honest review of my experience with EMG Motorsport.
