Trade Winds Luxury Homes

We moved into our new Florida home in Burnt Store Lakes (Punta Gorda) in September 2023. We chose Wayne and Tradewinds because they are a smaller custom builder and we felt very comfortable with him. We were quoted 12-15 months and signed the contract in March 2022. Any delays were due to the prior hurricane and building boom and sub-contractors. Throughout the entire process Wayne was exceptionally open and honest and responsive to our questions or concerns and always got back to us very quickly. Overall Tradewinds built us a quality and beautiful home that has met our expectations. All of this was done while we were still in NY with occasional visits to choose our finishing selections and to see the house progress. Wayne and the team were great! They provided constant communication, stuck to the schedule (for the most part...can't blame nature (massive limestone deposits, heritage oak trees, gopher tortoises and a CAT5 hurricane!))...from permit to move in 16 months! Costs were as promised, and surprised with the transparency when there were change orders (theirs, and mine). Move in process was a breeze, and punch list was minimal and completed timely. I'd definitely recommend them...and IF I ever feel crazy, and want to build again, I'd use them again.

Have had a wonderful experience with Trade Winds. Beautiful home and a customer focused staff. Cant say enough and would highly recommend!
