The Ponte Vedra/ Sawgrass area is, in my opinion, one of the safest locations to stay in the Jax area. The Hilton Garden Inn in this location is a bit dated, but is very clean, extremely convenient and all staff I encountered were both friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, grocer's and the various golfing venues. My 4 stars for rooms have more to do with the finishes and less to do with either comfort or space. When next in the area, I will definitely be returning to this Hilton. Rooms: The rooms are quite spacious, however shower stalls were a bit narrow. The beds and bath linens were the same wonderful quality found in every Hilton property. Safety: The exterior parking and adjacent shopping district is very well lit and at no point did I feel unsafe when returning to the hotel at a late hour. The reception staff were attentive and alert at the desk. After hours, have your virtual key at the ready to access the lobby doors. Walkability: The hotel property is adjacent to a large shopping district complete with everything from nail salons, a Publix, CVS, several wonderful restaurants and cafs and mid to upscale clothing shops.

Your front desk person is so rude . Snotty a d unhelpful.. Get your website working so I can book Mayo clinic rates online. This hotel does not answer their phone. Not that id want to talk to her. But man what a mess.

Service was ok. Arrived at check-in time and my booked room wasn't ready. They upgraded me because of this but the upgraded room had issues. Sliding glass door was not properly installed and allowed for AC and external air to freely flow due to crack between stationary sliding door and wall. During stay we requested conditioner be replaced as it was empty and then it was replaced incorrectly with shampoo. Had to ask a 2nd time to replace the shampoo with conditioner. It was nothing major per say, but a lot of little things just kept happening.
