The facts of the matter regarding your contract are as follows: Over the course of PPS original contract which all work was completed, customer requested for an additional work order titled Phase II. As customary procedure a deposit for additional work was submitted. This additional work entailed Travertine installation to cap wall as well as Driveway extension to which the latter DW extension work was canceled by customer. PPS returned your payment for your phase II additional work order minus the fees for the completed Travertine installation to cap wall. This was not a manner of cashing a check for work not completed and is a total misrepresentation of the facts. Sub-standard Project Management is the sole contributing factor to your landscape complaints. Failure to implement any landscape agenda let alone special notice instructions with even a 4-month delay by customer, prior to your hardscape scheduled is your negligence. If you have an underdeveloped, non- descript shrub/tree significant to you, growing right where your contracted hardscape is scheduled, it makes sense to arrange for your landscaper to re-move and re-plant or at the very least notify your Hardscape Contractor. This property was a multi exterior/interior project with multiple contractors and construction occurring. It is regrettable regarding concrete splatter to the front door, and it is also naïve to not anticipate such mishaps. Again, a competent Project Manager plans for this and typically schedules exterior painting after all other construction projects. The referenced concrete steps, it was acknowledged customers dis-satisfaction with poured concrete after removal of the forms. Despite the explanation of crew’s intensions of returning the following day to resume and complete the work you declined this. I provided alternative solutions as well as the option to demo and re-pour the concrete at no additional fee. I advised my professional opinion even re-pouring I did not feel was going to give the aesthetic and proper surface you were seeking. I offered another viable solution to installing Travertine over-top the poured concrete. You agreed, we completed the work at cost, it looked great, and you were happy with the job. All permits were inspected and closed out in accordance with city requirements. PPS is an established 35+ year business that prides itself on its professionalism. It is regrettable you are unsatisfied with your job, but I can say with certainty we were 100% committed to your job, as with all our customers.
