La Vallee Allure

I paid this woman in full on April 18, 2023 for a Mother of the Bride dress for my daughters wedding out of state 1st Saturday in November. We had 5 fittings scheduled (number of fittings was part of the fee) but we only had had 3 of them between April and August, and for one of them I had to go to her. The building she has her studio in is old and 2 stories high with old stairs and with a disgusting bathroom in the hallway. (Im talking rusted or unclean toilet bowels in the ladies room and my husband said the mens room was no better.) She almost never returned my calls, texts or emails or when she did, it was 3-4 weeks later. She kept on assuring me she was working on it and assured me that we had plenty of time. Bottom line: she screwed me. I never got my dress in time for my daughters wedding! (I had to race like crazy and buy one off the rack at the last moment!) This is a laugh - she offered me half of what I had paid her, but only as a credit towards a future dress or outfit I would use her for. Seriously? Why would I ever use her again after what she did to me? Unbelievable. Bottom line: Do not use her! She is not managing her time well. Perhaps taking on too much sewing & pattern making but also doing nails and eyelash extensions on the side. She is not professional by not scheduling fittings up front or responding to ones request for fittings. She is not responsible, leaving late for appointments and then calling me 2O minutes after she was supposed to be here to say she was on her way. The only positive thing I can say was when we did see each other in person, she was pleasant to work with. Fortunately I paid by credit card and was refunded everything but the initial $50 consultation fee. Run, run, run, as fast as you can from this company and designer.

This lady had 3 meetings scheduled with me and never turned up for any of them !! No notification,text,email!! Im absolutely certain if someone had treated her business in such a disrespectful manner she would have something to say ! If you book an appointment with this lady ! Ring and check she will actually be present.
