Paradigm Accounting

If I can put Dwight, the owner of Paradigm Accounting out of business I would. People who conduct business like Dwight should not be in business. I am writing this review not out of spite. I do it so publicly whoever reads this is warned about doing business with this unstructured, unprofessional company. I have had 2 terrible experiences doing business with Dwight. Not only does he lack communication but once he is paid he results in not responding and you have to chase him down to finish services. I paid Dwight May of 2022 to complete our 2021 business taxes. Its Feb 3, 2023 and I am still requesting for this to be done. He has all information needed to finish since July of 2022. I reached out June, July and August of 2022 to follow up requesting for what we paid for.. In June and July he said he was going to have done soon. In August, I followed up on 5 different occasions and received no response. My business partner did the same and he gave us no response. We never got upset with Dwight until he stopped communicating. Come January 2023 I realized he still didnt send. After I let it fall under the crack for a few months for personal matters, I demanded he send or send us a refund. He still didnt respond. As soon as I sent him a msg regarding pursing legal action is when he then finally responds advising he will have in a few days. Then days later tell me hes not going to finish because he is upset about how upset I am. Instead of apologizing or understanding our frustration and getting it to us promptly he makes up excuses. Dwight operates like a scammer. He did the same the year prior in 2021 but apologized explaining it was due to personal reasons and swore he would not conduct business the way he did the first time so I gave him another chance. I should have learned my lesson. I, co own a jewelry business thats been in business for over 10+ years with over 50 - 5 star ratings and weve never once received a bad review or conducted business in that manner. Customer satisfaction is extremely important! Providing services on a timely matter, always communicating and informing a client on finish dates is crucial in providing customer satisfaction.. A paying customer should NEVER have to chase for services to be finished. Dwight lacks all. What really upset me is our new accountant whos been in business for over 15+ years advice Dwight messed up our previous taxes he did for us in previous years. It may be because hes a fairly new inexperienced business owner/ accountant considering he started his LLC in 2020. We started business with Dwight in 2021. Anyone would be upset as we were. I am very understanding to most things in life and understand situations happen but this is unacceptable. It is not rocket science to complete someones taxes on a timely manner. That would have avoided all issues. Also, before conducting business with Dwight we referred a friend who also complained about having the same issues with Dwights firm. This is a warning to anyone who seeks services from this firm!
