I have been to this Urgent Care before because of the level of care provided. I was experiencing a swollen tonsils and aches and came to seek treatment. I was tested for strep and was negative but was diagnosed with acute pharyngitis. I continued to experience pain and called to inquire if I could come in and was told to go to the ER. I went to the ER and received confirmation that I had tonsilitis as my tonsils were so swollen I could not breath or sleep normally. As the ER physician told me, my tonsils were kissing each other and I should have been treated even though strep was negative as it was very visible that I had tonsillitis. I was misdiagnosed at Baptist Health! And the follow up response sending me to the ER when Urgent Care is fully equipped to meet my needs does not sit well with me to include having to incur a hefty ER copay because I was misdiagnosed.
